This one felt pretty awful. Planned on not stopping at all for a walk on this morning, but having missed one run last week and then missing my Monday run due to lack of sleep, I ended up walking sooner than on the last few runs. Gutted, so frowny face.
Run 2 - Fri 2nd July
Another treadmill effort here. And what an effort! Brazil v Holland on the TV and a stitch in my side most of the way, the second dip is where I decided a walk would stop me flying backwards through the wall. The first dip was an experiment in pace that revealed the shorter/quicker your steps are the slower it appears to Nike+. On the treadmill at least.
Run 3 - Sat 3rd July
My weekly run with Lisa, here taking a slightly different route through the park. Despite the dips and the slow pace, this was quite a good run.
Goal Achieved!
On the 7th of June I set my first Goal on Nike+ to run more often. The page suggested 10 runs in the next month and I achieved that with Run 1 of this week. As a reward I got this 'medal' and a video from Olympic Gold Medalist Allyson Felix. Nice bit of encouragement!
